Medical Education or MBBS in the Philippines is one of the BEST in the World. The High Quality of Education is attested to by the fact that Philippines is the highest exporter of Nurses and Doctors to the USA. Philippines was a colony of USA for 50 years and many students join Medical Colleges in the Philippines with the view that their Medical Entrance is going to get them certification and jobs in the USA. Consequently the Philippines has one of the best education systems in Asia. MBBS in Philippines is called the MD Program (Doctor of medicine). This is equal to the MD in USA, MBBS Degree in UK, MBBS in India, MBBS in Australia, MD in Germany, MD in Canada etc. The Degree is recognized as equal to MBBS in India by the Medical Council of India.
Citizen of any country is eligible to study in Philippines as a fee paying student for undergraduate and post graduate programs. For undergraduate Medical program (MBBS or MD), class 12 or HSSC with min. 50% Marks in with Subjects in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 11 and 12. For College graduates: Undergraduate in science 18 to 60 years old (Depending on subjects- For medicine age limit is 30 years). The total duration of the Medical, MD or MBBS course is 50 months & 10 months for students who have been educated till class 12 with Science. The first 10 months is a Bachelors program and focuses on building foundation for a strong medical education. The next 50 months is the core medicine and clinical rotation. If the student is already a College graduate then the admission program takes 50 months only.

English is the official language by the Philippines Government. Therefore, all syllabus are taught in English.
There are two intakes per year.
On campus, hostel facility available from attached bathrooms, with single, double or triple beds which includes air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. Rates differ according to your request. The guideline is INR 12,000 – INR 20,000.

It depends on where you stay, some sections of hostel permits to cook, however it’s discouraged but if you stay off campus, you are permitted to cook.
